Winter

Well we've had snow for maybe about a month now and lots is going on. We've had to go to Kais games, ive done stats at games for the basketball girls. :) lots of fun to watch and still somehow be involved in basketball.
Had the cousins come over last night they stayed until 2:30 when our parents came back from helping Ashley and Mark put tile down in their house. lots of fun for the kids. I went to bed at like 10:00 after puting the 3 youngest to bed and the others were either on the computer or playing basketball on the gamecube. I went and read.

SNOW!!and school

So it snowed this weekend and started snowing this afternoon. So they released school early. So I got home at 2:30 or so instead of 3:15. Im going to go to the weight room at 4 to work out. Its coming down hard but its not big snowflakes or anything. With wind chill and everything its suppose to be -12 degrees tomorrow. we did the math at school today in english. funny because it was english and we were doing math. but it was to warm up our minds or somthing like that. This week we are going to read The Necklace in English as well as next week because its a short week. anyway, the story is about a lady who borrows a necklace from a friend to impress people at a party shes going to and ends up losing it. I only know this because ive already read it from last year. So my teacher, Mr. Melum(aka Mr. Melon), gave us this paper and told us that we were to write down 5 things that had value to us from most to least. So i was hesitant but wrote down 1. Blessing Dress 2. Journal 3. Scriptures (at this time i coudn't really think of anything else because all the rest i could live without but would still like to have.) 4. Homemade dresses 5. Makeup (to be funny). When Mr. Melum started asking people what they put as number one i noticed that most were things that didn't really in the long run matter. Things like X-box 360s, weight sets, and straightners. I started comparing these things and became very sad for those people who didn't really have anything to value or didn't reconize it. Then there were those that had things that were of sentimental(sp) value to them such as a necklace that contained ashes of a loved one, or pets that were priceless. At the end of all this he said, but there was one person who had something else......(writing on the board next to others) Faith. I never really thought of those things as representing my faith but i guess so because they do have to do with my faith. So it was a good lesson for me. Even though i don't like mr. melum sometimes he does ok in teaching life lessons. Since my last snow update its really coming down now. bigger snowflakes. flurrish.

So as of Monday I have a Facebook so if you want to be my friend leave a comment or look for me on facebook. Its so much fun.
School is going well and all of this week was half-days for conferences. Mom didn't make an appointment and didn't go in during the optional conference time. So she didn't go talk to my teachers but she talked to the rest of the kid's teachers. I didn't really care because I do have all A's and I don't know what she would say to them.
Evening of Excellence is next week and the theme is There's No Place Like Home -Wizard Of OZ-,
we made sparkly shoes and they are so cute!
Today there is no school in honor of Veterans Day. So happy Veterans Day!!

So this year I will not be playing basketball because I just don't want to this year and I got really tired of playing last year so I just decided that I won't play this year.
But anyhoo I had to write a sequel to a story we read in class. I haven't yet finished it but So far I think its going good. My last volleyball game was yesterday and we lost but we won the first game. I think that we just kind of threw it away. Which was very sad because it was our last game. We played riverview. The varsity won though. So thats good.
I am doing ok in school as far as I know.
Tonight we will be carving pumpkins for mutual and Im so excited I love carving pumpkins. For Halloween this year I am going to be Little Red Riding Hood. I'll try and post a pic in my costume but if I don't Im sure my mom will post a pic on her blog.
Seminary is going great Im learning lots about the church's history and all the funny little stories behind the scenes. This year we get to study Doctrine and Covenants. I love our teacher she does a really nice job every day. Every day someone has to do an opening devotional and today that was me. I went to the True to the Faith pamphlet and read what it said in there about Happiness. I think it sounded really good. Plus I luv being in there with all the great older examples.

Game against Ki-B

So last Thursday we won the game against Ki-B and it was great. It was the first time we won a game so everyone was pretty excited. I can't remember but I think we won all 3. :)

Well we have lost all our games.....so far. We don't have a game this week. JV and Varsity do tomorrow. School is fine. Right now I have straight A's. I have a 117% in Math right now so thats good. But only because he gives us extra credit every day so that probably helps alot. Other than that my life is good. Our house has company all week so it should be fun. My Uncle Jared is here till Wedesnday then that same night my Aunt Laurel is going to come with her and her fam then they are bringing along their friends, its so exciting.

Game 1

My first game was tuesday and we lost but I think we did pretty good considering the fact that our JV team was mostly freshman who are supposed to be on the C team that we dont have and they were all Sophmores abd Juniors. I played all the 3 rounds/games. We pretty much got our butts kicked, but not by alot. I think by the end of the season we will be able to beat them. They weren't like spectacularly amazing but they were good enough to win. I had a few good hits as well as others on the team. I had a really good tip too. That was my highlight of the game, it made a point. Then it was my turn to serve but I choked on that so I missed that point then the game was over so I don't know if it really counts. ;) We just have to get our passes down and stay low so we can get it to our setters then we can do a lot of things. I thin we will be ready for the game on thursday if we work hard to get it right.

School, School, Volleyball

So thus far school school has been very interesting. I like keyboarding the the best because it is right after lunch so its kind of like Im starting over again with my day, in a good way. And I can all ready see a difference in my typing. I also really like Ms Shoostie(sp) she is so funny and she always goes off in these random story, then once she gets off topis then she wont go back on the subject for another five minutes. So you have to keep your eyes on her that way she doesn't go back to the subject because her stories are just so funny to listen to. For example we were going over the appropriate clothing and peircings and stuff when she thought of the story where there was this boy in her class that had his name tatooed onto his forearm so that if he got arrested then he could just hold up his arms parrallel to each other and then she would do the motion, but all in this kind of gangster way. She told us that story four times in two days. The other story is one about a guy she saw at the grocery store and he was a former RHS student. We were talking about texting in class. She said hi and he told her that he got a picture of her in her kitchen apron in her classroom.Then she said " when I heard him say that, the first thing that came to my mind was 1. (finger going up as number one) who took a picture of me? 2. (holds up another finger) I didn't give them permission to take a picture of me and 3. (hold up 3rd finger) Then sent it to other people." I just love it. Volleyball is going well our first game is next tuesday and im really nervous. There is going to be a temple trip on Saturday and then ice blocking afterword. I can't wait to go to the temple. I haven't been in like 4 months. Ice blocking is when you sit on a towel that is on a block of ice and then slide down a hill. Loven High School!

School Schedule Finally!

So Tuesday I got my high school schedule and I must say that I am really nervous, scared, and completely exstatic. Volleyball starts Monday at 3:30 and I am hoping I will enjoy that. I got a locker close to my friends. And a awesome/ok schedule.(?) That is as far as I can tell.

Seminary is this year and I have been preping myself for getting up earlier. So far I haqve only been able to do it once and all the rest of the days I was to tired, so this year will be interesting.

Way too long

Well, this time its really been a long time. Since the last post, I have been doing lots. This year the three oldest are doing swim team. That is going just fine. Sometimes its fun sometimes its a pain in the rear. We went to Bear Lake last weekend till this last thursday for a family reunion. We had tons of fun. We went to the Minatonka caves with the whole family, went to the beach, and went to Logan another day. The day of the beach I got a really bad sunburn. Today it started peeling really bad. And it itches really bad. I was wearing my compitition suit so I got sunburned on my bottom and so the next day every time I walked It hurt my bottom. My legs are peeling, my bottom is peeling, and my back is peeling. Its nasty. It doesn't hurt much any more except my lower back which is the worst.

Tooo Long

Well its been quite a while since Ive blogged last. Lots have been going on and it just seems that I can't make any time, or thing of, blogging. But today i did so here we go. It might get really long so bear with me. We have lost 3 out of the 4 games and I have made two homeruns thus far. One against Warden and the other against St Joe church. The Warden game was really good even though we lost. I think I played a winning game, so does my mom who was there and some others watching. I hit a homerun, got I think about 8 outs in the game, maybe more I will have to check with the stat person. I loved that game. But there was also a kind of a down side to the game. Remember my second stake dance I went to and that one guy asked me and Becca to dance four times, well guess who just happened to have no Soccer practice, yup, Eric, AKA George Lopez. I am terribly mean but it does seem like whereever i go he seems to find me. Of course that is his hometown but still. He didn't have to come watch the game. He was actually waiting where our bus stopped to drop us off. Yep. He just happened to be at that spot at the same time we got there. Ha ha, not. I tried to hide myself and was successful, not to be mean, but just because I was not in the mood to go talk to him. I had just gotten off the bus cramed in one seat with 2 other girls and the rest of the bus filled with sweaty boys and girls. It was a horrible ride. Anyway, what a game!
I got to see my goats last Saturday and Im not so thrilled about them, they are kind of annoying. Their yells when you hold them sound like little kids crying bloody murder. Its horrible! We decided we aren't going to split them up till the end of the year when there are more. The little ones are so cute until you hold one, so I didn't hold one, I just like to look at them. From afar they look like dogs, maybe like a beagle. We tried to feed them some of last years rotting leaves but they didn't seem to fond of that. They like the mustard weed better so we fed them that. When we let them out to graze or whatever the all started running and you could tell that they had some really bad gas! You could hear the most when they jumped. Kale and Hadley thought it was hilarious.

BEWARE: Goats up ahead

Dad decided that he has taken an interest in the goat business and are now looking for some goats. I am willing to put my money into it but I just want to name the kids. He is now looking for some goats and a lama because apparently they are really good watchmen. Dad says that we are going to breed them then sell them to the Mexicans. LOL

Last two weeks

These last few weeks have been long. It felt good too have spring break last week. At the beginning of the week we went to Utah and stayed at my aunts house till Thursday then we left to Rexburg, Idaho. In Utah we didn't really do a lot. My mom, grandma, and aunt painted my cousin's room. The rest of us just played. Monday I got sick, and through up that night. The next day(Tuesday) I didn't do much but felt a little better. Just the thought of food made my stomach queasy. But by the end of the day I was doing much better and was flying kites outside. That night we went to bowling and had lots of fun. It was a lot more fun then any other bowling night but we only had to pay $1.50 each. Wednesday was crazy. The wind blew all day long. So we flew kites. Then it got to a point where you coudn't see the sun because it was so dusty outside. You could see the outline of the sun but no light came through. Thursday night it snowed, we woke up to what looked like about an inch or two of it. Then it just blew around a lot. We left that afternoon to Rexburg and the next morning it snowed there too. I figured it was the same one from Utah. It just followed us up just to ruin our week. Therefore I could not practice softball once. Which I was really excited to do because no one at home either has the time to catch it, is too scared to, or doesn't want to put the gear on to do it. Wha wha wha. Look at me booben and cry`in again. We went to the REX Saturday afternoon. The REX is a movie theater/arcade/bowling place/jumpy house. We each got about $10 to spend. It didn't last long. We wanted to go bowling a little later at about 6:00 because that was when it was cheaper but we didn't calculate the shoe rental with it though. So when we had spent our $4 for arcade money in about 2 hours between the the bouncy house, we found out that we had to pay for shoes too. So we spent the rest of our money on the arcade games. The next day was Sunday and the day that we left. Since then we have just been in our usual lifes.
Our game today against Connell got canceled. I found out yesterady that I most likely will not be going to my last game against Oshmello. Who in our case is the best. Im told they play year round and our really good at it. Im going to the San Juan Islands and my coach is about to have a cow over it and she asked me to ask mom and dad if they could possibly just wait till the end of the game till we leave. Now when I told my mom about this she just about had a heart attack! She didn't like that idea too much. So I don't know what is going to happen.

March Madness

We started off softball last monday and its been fun. Its not as fun as I remember it being although that may be because I spained my ankle Monday morning. I was playing basketball with some of my friends. It was hard to practice that day but it is quickly recovering so hopefully I'll be able to pitch without being in as much pain.
Mom made me my easter/spring/summer/fall/winter dress yesterday. It is black with small white polka dots on it. It is down to my knees and is sleeveless and has a kind of a flap in the front. I put the ribbon on my waist and all I have to do is change the color of the ribbon and maybe a colored shirt then I can where it all year round. Like if I put on a red ribbon and maybe a green shirt underneath then BOOM! christmas dress.
My second stake dance was yesterday and a guy from Warden broke my record for most times dancing with me. Guess what it was. 4 times! The guy danced with me 4 times in a row! In case no one reading this knows but, I hate dancing with a guy more than once when they are doing something annoying, like looping his finger through my belt.Ya. So I wore my new dress to the dance and he kept putting his finger through my belt. He kept on wanting to talk to me all the time. After every dance he would either dance with me or sit by me and keep talking to me. Its one thing if you know me but I don't like sharing everything about me to a total stranger. At first he asked me if I was from Warden but moved to Royal because he said that he was told that I was from Warden. I said no. Then he asked if I had lived in Royal my whole life and I said no, I lived in Connell for a little and he's like oh... they were wrong. Then we kept talking and then the dance was over and he was like lets keep talking. I really didn't want to. I said sure though. Its hard for me to say no. So he went and sat down one chair away from Becca so I sat there so that she was in my sight. Thankfully. We talked some more then he asked me to dance again and i said sure. Im such a softy. I just can't say no. So we danced again then the song was over and he started escorting me over to my seat when he spun around back towards the dance floor saying lets keep danceing. Of course I didn't say no thanks. So there we were dancing for the third time in a row. By then I was really tired of dancing with him, and he was the only guy that I had danced with that whole night so i was getting desperate for a distraction. He asked about Becca and if she had lived in Royal her whole life. I said no she lived in Warden for a little. Then he was like oh so I got you two mixed up and Im like ya... you probably did. A little excited to see if he would ask her not me to the next dance. So when the dance was over he escorted me back didn't sit next to me this time and left. Then Becca(friend since kinder.) and Natalie( investigater/friend)and Caraline(friends cousin/ friend) started talking about how if he asked me again that one of them was going to stand up and ask to dance with him. The next dance he asked Becca. I had a total of 9 dances by the end of the night. I noticed that that out of the five guys I danced with four of them were older then me. The guy that I danced with four times was my age though. He also danced with Becca 4 times. I think that me and Becca were the only girls he danced with. By the end of the night me and Becca were both trying to avoid him. Which I feel horrible for saying so but it was true.

Softball

Our softball season going to start tomarrow and I'm so excited for it to start. I'm going to be pitcher with Kayla Smith. When Kayla is pitching I'll probably be at 2nd base. I can't wait for my first game. I just love softball.

Monthly goals accomplished

For the first time ever all four of us(kids) have accomplished our goals for the month. Each month we are supposed to have a certisn percent increase in each subject, which are math, Language Arts, Literature, History, and Art. This month we were supposed to get 10% increase from the start of the month to the end. This month, for the first time ever we go them all done. So to celebrate we went Bowling and had pizza at Pizza Hut. I scored 85 points, Kai scored 95, and Dad scored 110. Those are the only ones that I can remember. History has been made, ladies and gentlemen.

Last Game

We had our last game tuesday and it was one of the worst( painful wise) game that I have ever watched/played in. In the beginning of the first quarter about 2 minutes into the game Cynthia Cid one of the best athletes Ive ever seen goes in for a lay-in gets fouled falls into the wall and hit her head on the floor hard, so hard we could hear her hit. She screamed and I thought it was a kid somewhere until I finally realized that she was the one screaming. She was crying and screaming at the same time it sounded horrible. she just went into a shock.They ended up calling 911. The paramedics said she was fine so it was up to her and her dad to tell if she was going to keep playing or not. Her dad originally said that she couldn't but she got her way and got to play in the second half. Before the game I jammed my finger bad so its in a brace right now but we did win! It was a great season!! can't wait for high school ball!

Second Dance

I went my second dance yesterday at moses lake and i had lots of fun. It took me a while to warm up to it, just because im not used to dancing with people i dont know. im sure ill get used to it. i danced with 9 guys by the end of the night. a guy even asked me to dance with him twice...in a row. his name was chanler and he is becca's cousin. then after we danced he practically plowed me into a corner saying do you want to keep talking? because it was the start of a fast song. i said yes wanting to say no though. then morgan noticed me kind of strugging to get away and came over next to me. i was soo happy she did because he stopped talking. thank heavens. so then i said bye and left him there. at the end of the dance he asked me for my email. I told him i would have to ask my mom, knowingly that i wasn't really going to ask. i told him that becca knew it so he could ask her if my mom said yes. i told becca later to not give it to him. i dont remember half the people i danced with probably becuase they all ask me the same questions, where are you from, whats your name, how did you get named that(my favorite), what sports do you play, how did you hurt your finger, wha kind of music do you like, what do you like to do, blah blah blah. The ones I do remember are the ones that i either don't understand, couldn't here them, or ask wierd questions. The one that i didn't understand looked like a short rapper. i couldn't understand anything he said but all i know is that he kept asking me the same questions. another guy was rally tall and his name was Jared. he was lindsey, moriah cousin. he asked me what kind of toothpaste i had. then he asked what color it was. a guy i kind of already knew asked me to dance although he didn't reconize me right of the bat. he knew me from crabing trip they got to go on. His name is Austin Roylance, and we are like total oposites, either that or he was just hiding the fact that we had lots in common because everything I said he said he liked the opposite. one guy who was also was an Austin, asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, he said he wanted to be a cartoonist. I saw lots of different guys. I had lots of fun though. I didn't dance the last few songs hoping no one would ask me because i was soo tired and my back and legs hurt from dancing like a robot. They did this shoe thing where the girl threw in one of their shoes then a boy randomly chooses a shoe then a girl goes and gets her shoe and a guy. that was fun. I was very happy that it got over when it did. I was sooo tired.

First Dance

I had lots of fun at the dance. I danced with tanner once and we did the waltz for about half of a song, I think just because he felt bad becuase me and Becca were trying to do it together and we looked like total idiots out there. LOL. Then Becca got to do the swing with Tanner. Thanks to our dance classes we looked pretty good. The teacher's looked inpressed. They did a snowball kind of thing and poor Hailey had to dance with Mario. I felt so bad for her because we bribed her into coming and she was the only one out of our group that was chosen. They had to dance for 7 seconds, but I think it was longer than that. The the guys had to go and choose another girl to dance with after the 7 seconds was over. So it kept going like that throughout the whole song. On the fast songs there was a circle in the center on the gym where they had a kind of dance off where they would push their friends into the circle then their friend would scurry back to the outer edge of the circle. its pretty entertaining. Until you get pushed into the circle. It got really hot inside the gym so I was all sweaty after the dance. I think everyone was, so no one even cared. Pretty good first dance.

Second to Last game

We won or second to last game yesterday. It was very intense. It was 12 to 13 at like the end of the 3rd quarter. Then I got fouled and shot and got in one so it was 13 to 13. Then it kind of just went back and forth back and forth until there was only 30 sec left on the clock and it was 16 to 13 or something like that. They were pushing hard on their offence and our defence was really good so they didn't score that whole last 30 sec. We were losing 10-4 at like halftime. So we were really excited that we won. It happened that way the last time too. overall it was a really great game. We had our banquet yesterday and it was mostly just sit around and eat kind of a thing. We did watch some of our video from our games. One more game to go, then its off to softball! Im soo excited for softball to start.

Game 2 and Game 3

Game 2 was in Wahluke and we won. It was like 36 to 21 or something like that I dont remember.It was a good game but I dont think it was as good as Game 3. It was soo awesome! It was soo intense. I wish all of you could have been there to watch it because it was just awesome! I think we went in over confident. We had heard that they lost to Ki-Be and beat Wahluke which is exactly what had happened to us. So I knew that it was going to be a good match up. At halftime it was 2 to 8. We were very disapointed in ourselfs. I hadn't really played because we were losing but I was really kind of ticked off, and I could tell others were too. I knew that we were better but we just needed a reality check with ourselves. We were determined that we were going to win. We ended up winning 21 to 14, us. We were extatic! I fell one time when Cinthia Cid Beltran fell what felt like thousands of times. She is really amazing! Lots of times I thought she was done for good but took a little bit to get back up but kept playing, she is really good at getting up when she falls. Our team just keeps getting better and better. Go Squires! Scratch that, Go Knights!!!!! I got to say that now because next in August Im going to be in High School! Somewhere. I dont know if Im going to go to Royal High or some other online school. See ya!

Las Vegas/Basketball

So my parents have left for Las Vegas today at about 9:45 in the morning. We are at Brandon and Jens for the rest of the week! Were having lots of fun. My first game is on Thursday and Im sooo excited for it! Im not soo sure that Im ready for it though. My timing on when to pass and which kind of pass is a little off but Im sure it'll get better with a little more practice. So are my shots. Ive got the timing down and stuff down its just getting the basketball in the hoop is my problem. I can most certianly can make the shots if I dont rush myself, that also needs a little more practice. I haven't played actual ball since 5th grade so its a little difficult because I wasn't here last year. It'll just take time. P.S some of my sures' are spelled shure most likely, sorry!

I got on A team so I will always be playing at 4:00 as you can see. My practices are going great. There isn't much to say about it other than Im really excited for my first game! Im a point guard for now.
