haha We then went into the dance and they had a DJ there. My only complaint was that the music was wayyyyyy too loud. I could talk to Carter at all without yelling, and he was the same way. Other than that the dance was great! They had sparkling cider in fancy cups. (: We left the dance at about 10:45 and went to Moriah's where we watch television till about 11:15 when i was just so tired that I asked Carter to take me home. I could tell that he was either sick of me, or just really tired, so I think it worked out that I went home early. I overall had a great first Prom! I can't wait till next year! :D

Prom 2012(:
For Prom 2012, I went with Carter Allred. Our group that went with us on the date was, Moriah and Austin, Zach and Yvette, and Me and Carter. Our date started at 10:00 a.m. We headed out to Ellensburg to go on a hike a falls of some sort. So we started heading out, via google map directions(none of the guys had been there in over a few years). Well after 2 hours of continuous driving, we still could not find this hike. On this drive, Carter and I came up with little funny things to talk about or laugh about. For example, we saw multiple people bent over looking at the ground very intensely. We called them rock hunters. haha We each described how they would catch the rocks and crouch down and wait for the rocks to fall into their trap. haha It sounds very stupid but it was an inside joke that went on throughout our whole date. There were multiple other inside jokes that we ended up coming up with throughout our date. We ended up asked three different people where this place might possbibly be. By the third person we found out that we were alomost there. When we got there, we found out that we had to have a certian pass in order to even go onto the trail! haha We kinda wondered around for a little, trying to figure out where to get this pass. Well we see these old women come off the trail. They got in there car and started to drive out of the parking lot. We caught them and asked them where they got their passes. They didnt exactly tell us, but they did tell us that if we were caught without one we would possibly only get a warning. That was good enough for us so we set off on this hike. Now my father was worried sick about me the previous night, so the following morning he put together a phanny pack for his little girl. haha So i had this giant phanny pack on me while we hiked. I did get a little teased about it but I lived. haha We continued hiking and hiking. At about this time it was like 12:30 and we were starving and we had only just begun. We asked some people how far away it was and they said like 20 minutes. haha We were dieing. We had to cross a couple streams in order to get to the falls and a couple times we had to pass by some cliffs. Both times, I thought we would all fall or trip or possibly die. When we could finally hear the falls we came up to this sort of swampy area, it was just mud and logs. In order for us to see the front of the falls, we had to somehow get around this muddy spot. That took us a while. haha After the muddy area, we had to cross this steep ravine. It was a steep incline that we had to cross. I was so scared!!! It was crazy! If you missed one step you would end up falling and easy 200 ft onto rocks and water. But i was okay, we all made it across. Not thinking we had to go back the same way. Once across the ravine, we had to sort of slide down this giant rock. It was literally a really steep rock slide. It was actually made up of multiple smaller rocks but people had slid down it so many times that it was so smooth and combined into one. Well that pretty much ruined everyone's pants and clothes. The girls were not really happy about that. Moriah and Austin stayed up at the top, because Moriah was scared of falling and hurting herself. And we didnt need a trip to the Emergency Room. So there we were at the bass of the falls, it wasn't that big, maybe 200 ft. But it was still so pretty and it smelled soo clean. There was actually quite a few people there already. After about 10 minutes at the falls we headed back, speed walking all the way back to the parking lot. We were all starving and tired, so we piled in the car and talked about where we wanted to eat. We ended up at Taco Del Mar. It was delicious! We started on our way home and I could tell that Carter and I were both so tired. We both slumped down in our seats and just slept the whole way home. Its probably not a good thing to do on a date, but we were both so tired that we didnt even care. When we got home it was about 4:00, and we all split up and went to get ready for Dinner and the dance. I went to Moriah's and got ready there. Moriah did my hair in a waterfall braid out of my curls. It turned out really pretty for not planning what I even wanted done with my hair. We were finally all ready to go to dinner around 6:00, but we were waiting for one more couple, Carter C and Keestan. We finally headed out to dinner at 7:00. We went to a mexican restaraunt in Ephrata. Why we went to Ephrata for mexican food, I have no idea. haha It was pretty good though. We then went to Zach's house for pictures and to put on the corasages and bouitnerre. After pictures we went to the dance at 9:00. The theme was Hollywood and the Juniors did a great job. It ended up being in the Middle School because it had a smaller gym. We took pictures first and they turned out great. Besides the fact that my smile looks funny.
haha We then went into the dance and they had a DJ there. My only complaint was that the music was wayyyyyy too loud. I could talk to Carter at all without yelling, and he was the same way. Other than that the dance was great! They had sparkling cider in fancy cups. Arizona :)
Here are a few things that we saw and did in Arizona this last week. :)
We went to the Mormon Battalion Center and panned for, lets face it, fools gold.
This ship was coming into port in San Diego just outside our hotel. It was the aircraft carrier that participated in dumping Osama Bin Ladin's body into the ocean.
I thought it was neat to see all the sailors standing all around the ship in uniform at attention. :)
This is a cliff dwelling in arizona called Montezuma Castle. It was pretty cool.
Yes this is me, kissing a giraffe. :D His name is Pilgram. :)haha

Easter-Today
Oh boy, here we go.
Easter morning we got up and every year we always have to look for our baskets before we can pick up eggs. This year we were pleasantly surprised when Mom and Dad said that we were going to go on a scavenger hunt for our baskets. So we got a clue saying something like " To find Seilas basket go to where she keeps her nails colored. " so we all headed to the bathroom. There in the nail polish bucket we found the next clue. It said something like " to find Kai's basket go where hes working on the yard. " so there we went to the front yard and found the next clue. It said something like " To find Hadley's basket you'll have to help her finish the basket shes been making. " So off we went to the sewing room the find another clue, there the clue said " To find Kales clue go to his sweet new ride" (The morning before dad had fixed his bike) so off we went to the bike. There we found yet another clue! The clue said " To find our visitors clue go to the baby toys". At that point I hadn't yet put together all the clues, so i thought that we were getting a foriegn exchange student again. So we went to the baby toys, but then I started thinking and figured out that we were going to have another sybling. I started crying and when the basket came down and there was a clue in there. It said something like " Our visitor isn't going to be a visitor but a new baby brother or baby sister! Due to arrive the second week of November! " By then I was baulling my eyes out and mom started crying then kale and kai. So there was our Easter for ya.
After Easter came Youth Conference May 6-7. One of the best Youth Conferences, the theme for the two days was missionary work, so we were all assigned to different places in the world. Kai was assigned to the Sapporo, Japan mission, I was assigned to the Moscow, Russia mission. Which is kind of funny cause i really dont do well when im cold. haha. Friday night we got there and recived our stick on badges and had a dinner of nachos or potatoes. Next we had two speakers, Elder Daniel Walker (going on a mission) and Sister Katelyn Christensen. (just came back from her mission) The two speakers did great and next came the dance. The dance was pretty good. Marnie Bergeson came with us and I must say that she is one of the best adult dancers there. haha Saturday I wasn't able to attend the morning part to go to a game instead. We lost against Connell, surprise surprise. I got back to Youth Conference around 4:30 and we came in the middle of Brother Scott Anderson's talk. He did an awesome job! I felt the spirit really strong but still laughed really hard at all of his stories. :) Next came testimony meeting. I always love testimony meeting. People I know always make me cry. I sat there thinking, your going to regret not getting up there! and i did. ha. ill get up next time. :) Then we had dinner and entertainment to go along with it. Dinner was hawiian haystack, sooo goood!!! i love hawaiin haystacks. :) The entertainment was really good too, each wardwas asked to come up with something and lots really really funny or really cute. After dinner was the dance. Pretty good dance too.
After Youth Conference came Mothers Day, at 1:30 am Jen Jenks went to the hospital to have her baby so the kids came to our house in the morning. :) i love those kids. always sooo cute. after church we headed staight to Moses to eat at our couins house and wait to hear the news of the new baby girl, Elizabeth.
May 11-14 we were shrimping, in the San Juan Islands. We had a geat year once again. Not as many people were able to come but we still hd a great time.
Sunday May 15 after church we went to our cousins house to celebrate some birthdays and ate cake and ice cream. :) Overall a very busy past month. And still lots mor to come. Theres about 18 days left of school. Sooo excited for this summer to come! :) Very happy this scool year is almost over. :D

Varsity Softball 2011
This year I have the privelege of being a swinger for varsity softball. We played tuesday march 19, and lost to cashmere by 1 run. We played really well though so it wasn't a huge disapointment. Today we played a double header against la salle, who we thought was going to really good but turned out to remind me of the middle school games. They were ok. the first game we won 18 to 1 and the second game we won i think 19 to 3. So overall a great win for royal. I got to pitch the second game in the last two innings. I tend to shut out everyone when im in playing. which probably isnt very good because when someone calls me off for a ball i dont here them and run into them. which happened to me today. it was kind of funny. I do pick out voices so i mostly just here words of encouragement. which is good for me because i do better when people are cheering. its weird, cause i think that i need total silence and when its really loud i tend to do better. lol

Winter
Well we've had snow for maybe about a month now and lots is going on. We've had to go to Kais games, ive done stats at games for the basketball girls. :) lots of fun to watch and still somehow be involved in basketball.
Had the cousins come over last night they stayed until 2:30 when our parents came back from helping Ashley and Mark put tile down in their house. lots of fun for the kids. I went to bed at like 10:00 after puting the 3 youngest to bed and the others were either on the computer or playing basketball on the gamecube. I went and read.

SNOW!!and school
So it snowed this weekend and started snowing this afternoon. So they released school early. So I got home at 2:30 or so instead of 3:15. Im going to go to the weight room at 4 to work out. Its coming down hard but its not big snowflakes or anything. With wind chill and everything its suppose to be -12 degrees tomorrow. we did the math at school today in english. funny because it was english and we were doing math. but it was to warm up our minds or somthing like that. This week we are going to read The Necklace in English as well as next week because its a short week. anyway, the story is about a lady who borrows a necklace from a friend to impress people at a party shes going to and ends up losing it. I only know this because ive already read it from last year. So my teacher, Mr. Melum(aka Mr. Melon), gave us this paper and told us that we were to write down 5 things that had value to us from most to least. So i was hesitant but wrote down 1. Blessing Dress 2. Journal 3. Scriptures (at this time i coudn't really think of anything else because all the rest i could live without but would still like to have.) 4. Homemade dresses 5. Makeup (to be funny). When Mr. Melum started asking people what they put as number one i noticed that most were things that didn't really in the long run matter. Things like X-box 360s, weight sets, and straightners. I started comparing these things and became very sad for those people who didn't really have anything to value or didn't reconize it. Then there were those that had things that were of sentimental(sp) value to them such as a necklace that contained ashes of a loved one, or pets that were priceless. At the end of all this he said, but there was one person who had something else......(writing on the board next to others) Faith. I never really thought of those things as representing my faith but i guess so because they do have to do with my faith. So it was a good lesson for me. Even though i don't like mr. melum sometimes he does ok in teaching life lessons. Since my last snow update its really coming down now. bigger snowflakes. flurrish.

So as of Monday I have a Facebook so if you want to be my friend leave a comment or look for me on facebook. Its so much fun.
School is going well and all of this week was half-days for conferences. Mom didn't make an appointment and didn't go in during the optional conference time. So she didn't go talk to my teachers but she talked to the rest of the kid's teachers. I didn't really care because I do have all A's and I don't know what she would say to them.
Evening of Excellence is next week and the theme is There's No Place Like Home -Wizard Of OZ-,
we made sparkly shoes and they are so cute!
Today there is no school in honor of Veterans Day. So happy Veterans Day!!

So this year I will not be playing basketball because I just don't want to this year and I got really tired of playing last year so I just decided that I won't play this year.
But anyhoo I had to write a sequel to a story we read in class. I haven't yet finished it but So far I think its going good. My last volleyball game was yesterday and we lost but we won the first game. I think that we just kind of threw it away. Which was very sad because it was our last game. We played riverview. The varsity won though. So thats good.
I am doing ok in school as far as I know.
Tonight we will be carving pumpkins for mutual and Im so excited I love carving pumpkins. For Halloween this year I am going to be Little Red Riding Hood. I'll try and post a pic in my costume but if I don't Im sure my mom will post a pic on her blog.
Seminary is going great Im learning lots about the church's history and all the funny little stories behind the scenes. This year we get to study Doctrine and Covenants. I love our teacher she does a really nice job every day. Every day someone has to do an opening devotional and today that was me. I went to the True to the Faith pamphlet and read what it said in there about Happiness. I think it sounded really good. Plus I luv being in there with all the great older examples.

Game against Ki-B
So last Thursday we won the game against Ki-B and it was great. It was the first time we won a game so everyone was pretty excited. I can't remember but I think we won all 3. :)

Well we have lost all our games.....so far. We don't have a game this week. JV and Varsity do tomorrow. School is fine. Right now I have straight A's. I have a 117% in Math right now so thats good. But only because he gives us extra credit every day so that probably helps alot. Other than that my life is good. Our house has company all week so it should be fun. My Uncle Jared is here till Wedesnday then that same night my Aunt Laurel is going to come with her and her fam then they are bringing along their friends, its so exciting.

Game 1
My first game was tuesday and we lost but I think we did pretty good considering the fact that our JV team was mostly freshman who are supposed to be on the C team that we dont have and they were all Sophmores abd Juniors. I played all the 3 rounds/games. We pretty much got our butts kicked, but not by alot. I think by the end of the season we will be able to beat them. They weren't like spectacularly amazing but they were good enough to win. I had a few good hits as well as others on the team. I had a really good tip too. That was my highlight of the game, it made a point. Then it was my turn to serve but I choked on that so I missed that point then the game was over so I don't know if it really counts. ;) We just have to get our passes down and stay low so we can get it to our setters then we can do a lot of things. I thin we will be ready for the game on thursday if we work hard to get it right.

School, School, Volleyball
So thus far school school has been very interesting. I like keyboarding the the best because it is right after lunch so its kind of like Im starting over again with my day, in a good way. And I can all ready see a difference in my typing. I also really like Ms Shoostie(sp) she is so funny and she always goes off in these random story, then once she gets off topis then she wont go back on the subject for another five minutes. So you have to keep your eyes on her that way she doesn't go back to the subject because her stories are just so funny to listen to. For example we were going over the appropriate clothing and peircings and stuff when she thought of the story where there was this boy in her class that had his name tatooed onto his forearm so that if he got arrested then he could just hold up his arms parrallel to each other and then she would do the motion, but all in this kind of gangster way. She told us that story four times in two days. The other story is one about a guy she saw at the grocery store and he was a former RHS student. We were talking about texting in class. She said hi and he told her that he got a picture of her in her kitchen apron in her classroom. Then she said " when I heard him say that, the first thing that came to my mind was 1. (finger going up as number one) who took a picture of me? 2. (holds up another finger) I didn't give them permission to take a picture of me and 3. (hold up 3rd finger) Then sent it to other people." I just love it. Volleyball is going well our first game is next tuesday and im really nervous. There is going to be a temple trip on Saturday and then ice blocking afterword. I can't wait to go to the temple. I haven't been in like 4 months. Ice blocking is when you sit on a towel that is on a block of ice and then slide down a hill. Loven High School!

School Schedule Finally!
So Tuesday I got my high school schedule and I must say that I am really nervous, scared, and completely exstatic. Volleyball starts Monday at 3:30 and I am hoping I will enjoy that. I got a locker close to my friends. And a awesome/ok schedule.(?) That is as far as I can tell.
Seila Jenks 9th grade schedule(drumroll)........
1st period.....Cothing Textile(semester1)/Interior designing(semester2)Ya!!
2nd period.......English(not so exciting)
3rd period........Health(semester1)/PE(semester2) booo I wanted weights.
4th period.........Physical Science (we'll see)
5th period........Digital Communications (Keyboarding) fun?
6th period.......World History (blah)
7th period........Geometry (blah blah)
Rereading it it sounds like it horrible schedule, but I think the first period will make up for the rest of the day. If: Schuts will even let it be fun. hehe
Seminary is this year and I have been preping myself for getting up earlier. So far I haqve only been able to do it once and all the rest of the days I was to tired, so this year will be interesting.

Way too long
Well, this time its really been a long time. Since the last post, I have been doing lots. This year the three oldest are doing swim team. That is going just fine. Sometimes its fun sometimes its a pain in the rear. We went to Bear Lake last weekend till this last thursday for a family reunion. We had tons of fun. We went to the Minatonka caves with the whole family, went to the beach, and went to Logan another day. The day of the beach I got a really bad sunburn. Today it started peeling really bad. And it itches really bad. I was wearing my compitition suit so I got sunburned on my bottom and so the next day every time I walked It hurt my bottom. My legs are peeling, my bottom is peeling, and my back is peeling. Its nasty. It doesn't hurt much any more except my lower back which is the worst.
By the way I am loving the new thing in the blogger layout called design. You can design your own background. I made the one right now. Luv IT!

Tooo Long
Well its been quite a while since Ive blogged last. Lots have been going on and it just seems that I can't make any time, or thing of, blogging. But today i did so here we go. It might get really long so bear with me. We have lost 3 out of the 4 games and I have made two homeruns thus far. One against Warden and the other against St Joe church. The Warden game was really good even though we lost. I think I played a winning game, so does my mom who was there and some others watching. I hit a homerun, got I think about 8 outs in the game, maybe more I will have to check with the stat person. I loved that game. But there was also a kind of a down side to the game. Remember my second stake dance I went to and that one guy asked me and Becca to dance four times, well guess who just happened to have no Soccer practice, yup, Eric, AKA George Lopez. I am terribly mean but it does seem like whereever i go he seems to find me. Of course that is his hometown but still. He didn't have to come watch the game. He was actually waiting where our bus stopped to drop us off. Yep. He just happened to be at that spot at the same time we got there. Ha ha, not. I tried to hide myself and was successful, not to be mean, but just because I was not in the mood to go talk to him. I had just gotten off the bus cramed in one seat with 2 other girls and the rest of the bus filled with sweaty boys and girls. It was a horrible ride. Anyway, what a game!
I got to see my goats last Saturday and Im not so thrilled about them, they are kind of annoying. Their yells when you hold them sound like little kids crying bloody murder. Its horrible! We decided we aren't going to split them up till the end of the year when there are more. The little ones are so cute until you hold one, so I didn't hold one, I just like to look at them. From afar they look like dogs, maybe like a beagle. We tried to feed them some of last years rotting leaves but they didn't seem to fond of that. They like the mustard weed better so we fed them that. When we let them out to graze or whatever the all started running and you could tell that they had some really bad gas! You could hear the most when they jumped. Kale and Hadley thought it was hilarious.
